MASS LBP, with partners IPAC and the British Council, is pleased to announce that Doug Knight of St Joseph Media and Shelley Ambrose of The Walrus magazine will be joining us Tuesday June the 23th at Jamie Kennedy's Gilead Café for: Publishing Big and Small: The embattled publishing model.

Doug Knight is the president of one Canada's largest publishing companies, St. Joseph's Media: Toronto Life, Fashion magazine, Ottawa Magazine, and more. Doug is the former publisher and CEO of The Financial Post and The Toronto Sun, and served as chairman and CEO of the first U.S.-based Spanish language newspaper chain with papers in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Shelley Ambrose is the publisher of The Walrus magazine, published by a registered non-profit charitable foundation. Shelley worked as a reporter for the Globe and Mail and the Windsor Star before serving for more than a decade as a producer for CBC Radio’s Morningside and later for The Pamela Wallin show. Shelley also spent three years in public affairs at the Canadian Consulate in New York, organizing media and events and building the Canadian brand.
